Honey + cinnamon broiled grapefruit, otherwise known as my new favorite thing to make on the weekends. I love anything grapefruit, but broiling a Ruby Star with honey and cinnamon takes it to another level. I haven’t been much into cooking anything complicated lately, so I appreciate the no-brainer that this little treat really is!
Halve a grapefruit. (Ruby Star are really worth it.)
Cut it into segments.
Place on baking sheet. (I also use a cookie cutter underneath to keep the grapefruit’s shape while baking.)
Drizzle with honey.
Sprinkle on some cinnamon. (Prefer Ceylon.)
Broil for 3-4 minutes.
I’m enjoying this on my day off with a stack of new magazines. RELAXATION MONDAY, hurrah! I’m meeting with some swim class mates to practice flip turns at noon, then I might go see a movie. It’s a toss up between HER or Endless Love….and yes, I’m aware of the Rotten Tomatoes review differences there. Ha!
