On Friday night, I went to the Burlington Art Hop after work – will blog about the panty pulping workshop we did earlier that day! Jen and I split the BEST wrap from Frida’s Taqueria, a Mexican restaurant in Stowe that had a booth at the Art Hop. It was fried chicken with peach salsa and cabbage.
On Saturday, I went out to Hyde Park to visit with Ashley and Jared and see their new baby boy. He’s delicious! The best eye lashes I’ve ever seen on a baby.
My non-cooking streak continued. I brought salad (and I’m not a big salad person), and we just ordered pizza for dinner. After our walk in the woods, we were all like, “Eh, let’s just order pizza.” I’m not sure if I mentioned this, but all I have wanted post-Japan are things like pepperoni and sausage. So, I was thrilled.
On Sunday, I wanted a day to do very very very little. I slept until 10 a.m., lounged until 4 p.m., and finally left the house to enjoy the sunshine and run down to the lake just before dinner. Twas lovely.
