Six months in Japan.

NOTO PENINSULA

I discover Middle-earth.

Bahahaha! Not really. I just had an EPIC Sunday on the Noto Peninsula. Details to come.

But, in all honesty, this is the point in the game I call “Sarah Moves To Japan,” where I realize that after a horrible beginning in which I felt like I was pushed down a flight of stairs, I`m doing pretty darn well most days weekends. My Japanese could be a hellava lot better by now and work could be smoother, but awwww shucks, the game is almost over. I decided not to recontract and return to the States this August. (JET Programme teachers can potentially stay here for up to five years.) While this is the right decision for me on many levels, I have now started lamenting my limited time left in Japan, referring to it as “THE ADVENTURE!”, like I will never have another one of this magnitude….
