Because I’m watching Homeland – just starting episode 2 of season one and already predicting a Homeland marathon this weekend – and tired from teaching five classes, biking in the snow, and trying to finish a Japanese exam that is due tomorrow……whew……I’m holding off on a George Town recap.

For now, I give you really kawaii (cute) stickers. I am doing a homeroom competition with my first years. If they volunteer or are extra “genki” they can win stickers. Whichever homeroom gets the most at the end of the semester will get final exam bonus points and homemade baked goods (by moi). Yes, I’ve stooped to good old-fashioned bribery.

Anyway, I have to admit, stickers in Japan are pretty cool. I’m blown away by the variety when I go to the store to buy them. Today I handed out these kitty stickers. Nyan!
