Okay, so I made it through 210 essays. I now hope that I don’t have hundreds of students complain about their grade. My rubric was made on the fly, which is so not ideal.
I celebrated by going out for dinner and drinks last night at Soup Curry in Takaoka. It was awesome: beautiful decor (felt sort of Scandinavian) and delicious food.
Also, I’m going on a blog hiatus. Sort of ironic: my life finally gets interesting and I just don’t have the time, resources, or burning desire to blog.
I just don’t have the time or convenience to blog (SO over typing on my phone). And I’m not really getting the chance to read other blogs or cook or workout either. I feel very removed from both the online and my former world, unless it is Instagram.
I actually am having a BLAST on Instagram right now. It is, like, my perfect social media platform. So, follow me at @dailynibbles. Lots of Japan and London pics!

I am really enjoying following you on instagram, so as long as you keeping taking photos there, I am a-ok with your blog hiatus!
This is not a bad thing except I will miss your posts. Now go out and enjoy right where you are.
I first found your blog, I think, on Freshly Pressed and I liked how you loved Scotland, running, and baking. I also love those things so I kept reading. I liked your posts about running nutrition and marathons etc. So, I will miss checking in with you, but totally understand that your life is in a different place now, in EVERY way, right? I’ll keep checking back now and then to see how things are going. Enjoy your new life and experiences!
Thanks for your kind words! I am hoping things settle in soon here. AND that I get Internet, which I have not had regular access to since the end of June.
