Wow, time flies. I’m headed to the airport soon, saying good-bye to my family for at least a year. This is sad. In these moments, I wonder, “Why am I doing this…moving to Japan?”
Yesterday we spent the day boating, eating shish kebab, and indulging in some Funfetti cupcakes at Indian Lake.
*Post-lunch…..HOT and ready for a boat-ride.

Looks like a Great Day on the Lake – great photos – thanks for sharing! Have a Great Day!
I just LOVE the word “funfetti”- Everyone’s smiles are so big! Looks like an awesome holiday!
I’ve loved your posts on Ohio. Makes me miss home so much, especially when I saw the “Welcome to Ohio” sign
I love Ohio! Wish I had more time there. Never got to Yellow Springs!
Why are you moving to Japan?
I’m going to teach for the year. It’s a cool program and I’m ultimately excited…..just stressing me out right now!
I can understand, but once you’re there it will be wonderful. Change is always stressful but it will pass. Enjoy! I hope you continue the blog during your year there. I’m enjoying reading about your life.
These are beautiful photos! It was gorgeous in Vermont on the 4th, but then we had some CRAZY thunderstorms!
I heard! Some friends said that people were practically kayaking in the streets.
